As part of the USA's 250th birthday, Tri-Faith Initiative received the Courage Organizational Award from the Courage Project, "a bold initiative honoring everyday acts of bravery – the quiet, often unseen acts of heroism that reflect the best of the American spirit and strengthen democracy at the community level." But how does the mission of Tri-Faith Initiative reflect this American spirit? Join Dr. Lucas Schulte, just back from representing Tri-Faith Initiative at the Courage Project’s interfaith service at the Washington National Cathedral, for a reflection and workshop about Religion in America at 250. After small-group discussions on some surprising examples of interfaith inclusion by some of America's founding figures, we will look briefly at what the religious landscape of the United States looks like today and discuss some trends of where we might be heading for the future.
